If I remember correctly, the gentleman that purchased the property was made aware of the whole USA Springs situation and that the townspeople put a stop to it because of how their water supply would be compromised. He stated he understood and would not allow any company lease or use the property that could harm the water supply. Data centers can use up to 500,000 gallons of water per day, minimum. Which is more than USA Springs was proposing to withdraw. A search of meeting minutes or videos when he was proposing to purchase this property may be helpful.
My memory could be wrong, but it is worth checking out.
The Planning Board meets on the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month. So, next meeting on May 27. The agenda is not yet posted, but I assume this will be discussed in that meeting.
No
No way! We need to get this shut down. Funny how Ayotte recently spoke about this.

Your memory is not wrong--he was very aware of our town's stance on water usage. Frankly, I'm surprised he would consider a data center...
This cannot happen.
Absolutely not!!
This will bring people out. When’s the meeting ?

There aren't any details at this time--the application just says "to discuss proposal for a data center". https://www.nottingham-nh.gov/sites/g/files/vyhlif3611/f/pages/pb_case_26-009_ccr_nottingham_business_park_llc_-_145_old_turnpike_rd_-_conceptual_consultation_request.pdf Will certainly be interesting to hear what the proposal includes. Hang onto your water source folks!
Oh no!! Any way we can find out more??
I’ll be covering the story as new details emerge.
