People in an open society do not demand infallibility from their institutions, but it is difficult for them to accept what they are prohibited from observing.

- Chief Justice Warren Burger

Naming Policy

Statements by elected officials, candidates running for office, and town employees acting in their official capacities are typically attributed to named individuals. Statements by citizens presenting at government meetings are not normally attributed. Readers interested in the identity of those speakers can watch the video, as in most cases individuals identify themselves before speaking.

Dedication

This blog is dedicated to the honor of my step-father, the award-winning investigative journalist, Thomas D. Miller. One of his favorite sayings was, “sunlight is the best disinfectant.” After seeing what goes on in Nottingham government, his saying kept coming to my mind, inspiring this blog.
