It is important that a write-in vote for ANY candidate include not only writing in a name, but also filling in the oval next to that name.

I don't see how in the world Mr. Vilchock will be able to serve Nottingham when he has such an ax to grind with all the other selectmen he will need to work with, not to mention with the TA. By electing him you put in a position to over see of the Fire Department of which he was fired from. He would be wise to wait until his court case is resolved before attempting to run for BOS. By not doing so I have serious doubts that he really has the town of Nottingham's best interest at heart.

Did you read the article, or just make the jump straight from outer space to the comment section?

He tells us in a straightforward manner there’s no axe to grind and that he’ll recuse himself when necessary.

I wonder if the Chief had Nottingham’s best interest at heart the last 35 years operating basically as a volunteer Fire Chief fire fighter EMT first responder fire warden emergency management director 24/7/365?

I’d like to know what we think candidate Bartlett and Shirland have done that would lead anyone to believe they have Nottingham’s best interest at heart.

They refuse to even answer the candidate questions from Bates.

Another shining example of the current regimes apparent disdain for transparency.

Following this debacle closely from March of 2023 to present day I’ve got the feeling that somehow, there’s still some folks out there who are in for an extremely rude awakening come the first week of June.

Yawn...whoever you are I can't take you seriously when you don't even use a real name. Go back in the box Jack.

Cough…..Maureen (if that’s even your real name) whats your last name?

It’s extremely relevant to the conversation.

I don’t think anyone should take you seriously until you use your full name.

Let’s overlook all facts and the topic at hand while we distract ourselves by focusing on each others usernames.

Brilliant!!

Love, Jack

I was just matching your level of hostility, Jack. But in all seriousness, he doesn't really say what you claim. He states right out that he doesn't support anybody on the board of selectmen and so my concern is how is he going to work with the same people who fired him for the best interest of Nottingham; I don't see how anybody could effectively do that. I think he would've been much better off to wait until his court situation was resolved, win or lose before running for board of selectmen. I guess we'll just have to wait and see how many people in town actually think he can effectively do the job under circumstances such as he's confronted.

Q: If you become a selectman, how will that affect what the Board of Selectmen does with your litigation against the Town? In what ways will you have to recuse yourself?

A: “I expect to recuse myself from any discussion related to my RSA 154 Superior Court Case and anything related to future separate litigation related to my role as Fire Chief. Emergency Management Director and NH State Forest Fire Warden.”

I speak with a lot of people in town on a regular basis, I don’t know anyone who supports this current BoS, and for good reason, do you Maureen?

The Republicans endorsed both Bartlett and Shirland, that alone raises many concerns.
